OLLIERS MOTOR LAW TEAM

Matthew joined Olliers Solicitors as a trainee in 1988 becoming a Partner in 1991. He was appointed Managing Partner in 1995 and has overall responsibility for business development, planning, financial management and marketing. He is also responsible for co-ordinating new business within the firm.

His background is as a Serious Crime Specialist and Fraud Litigator together with substantial experience as a Road Traffic Defence Advocate.

Rebecca joined Olliers as an Assistant Solicitor in 2005 and is a specialist advocate.

Rebecca has defended a full range of cases including murder, rape, armed robbery and large scale drugs conspiracies.

Rebecca is also a specialist motoring lawyer and leads a team of three lawyers representing clients facing motoring prosecutions throughout England and Wales

Rebecca is one of the most highly regarded young advocates in the Northwest.

Ruth joined Olliers in 2005 qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007.

Ruth has experience of serious criminal prosecutions involving a number of large scale MTIC/Carousel Frauds. In addition to this she has prepared various drug cases including a 20 handed multi million pounds drug conspiracy.

Ruth is also an experienced motor lawyer and she has experience of representing clients facing motoring prosecutions throughout the country.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and joined Olliers from specialist motor defence firm Geoffrey Miller in 2009.

Sarah has extensive experience of all areas of motor defence law with particular emphasis on defending speeding cases, excess alcohol offences and allegations of failing to furnish driver identity. Interestingly, Sarah also has substantial experience of defending taxi drivers in relation to allegations of soliciting for hire.
